ANALYSIS THE EFFECTIVENESS OF WORKING PROCESS INSURED BY SPRAYING BOOMS WITH AXIAL FAN AND SPRAYING WITH CARRIED JET

Abstract


The widespread use in orchards sprinkling machines equipped with booms with axial fanhas imposed an analysis of the effectiveness of the work process provided by this type of sprayers.The major disadvantage of the booms with axial fan consists in a lower capacity to ensure a uniform spatial distribution of the jet droplets.
Reduce the loss of fluid and decrease environmental impact due to the phenomenon of drift,at the same time with a high biological efficiency was materialized by equipping this type of boom with deflecting profiles. These devices allow air flow adjustment, so that the trajectory of the air flow jet mixed with liquid droplets does not exceed the height of the crop.
The paper achieves a comparative analysis of the quality of work process, ensured by booms with axial fan, with or without deflecting profiles, establishing in the same time  the deviations from the average prescribed quantity and the longitudinal distribution uniformity.
